Accessories for the Piaggio Typhoon 125 4T

The Piaggio Typhoon 125 4T is a scooter suited to getting around town. Daily rides involve more than the time spent moving: there are tight parking spaces, unfamiliar addresses and stops while you run errands. That makes practical protection, shelter from the wind and easy access to directions particularly relevant when deciding what to fit to your scooter.

The most useful additions address the small challenges that come with regular city riding. Think about your route and where you leave the scooter during the day; those details make a difference to which accessories you are likely to use:

• Protectors: If you regularly park in a crowded street or manoeuvre into a narrow space, protectors can help shield the areas they are designed to cover from minor scuffs. They are particularly relevant to a scooter that is parked and moved several times a day.
• Screens: On open city roads or short stretches of ring road, a screen can deflect some of the airflow you meet on the way to work. It is worth considering if those exposed parts of the journey are a regular feature of your ride.
• Phone mounts: Finding a new address often means following several turns close together. A mount keeps navigation in view on the Typhoon, so you do not need to stop to check your route; keep your attention on the traffic around you.
• Security locks: Whether the scooter is outside your workplace or parked during a quick errand, a lock adds a security measure while you are away. It is especially useful when a typical day includes several stops rather than a single ride out and back.

A short trip across town may call for a different set-up from a daily route with faster, more exposed sections. Start with the journeys you actually make and the places you usually park when choosing accessories for your Typhoon.
