Accessories for the Piaggio X-Evo 400

The Piaggio X-Evo 400 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys as well as rides beyond town. If your week involves frequent stops but you also spend time on the open road, the accessories worth considering will reflect both uses. Security while it is parked, shelter from the wind and the details around your riding position can all matter for different reasons.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio X-Evo 400

• Security locks: for a scooter parked outside during the working day, or left while you make several stops, a lock is a practical addition. Artago and Urban are among the accessory brands available for this model.
• Screens: a screen is worth considering when your X-Evo 400 takes you beyond short urban trips. It can provide more shelter from the wind on longer stretches of road, where exposure becomes more noticeable than it is between city streets.
• Covers and leg covers: this category is relevant if you ride through colder weather or leave the scooter parked between journeys. What each item does depends on whether it is intended to provide shelter while riding or protection when the scooter is not in use.
• Handlebar accessories: the area around your hands is part of the riding position you use on every journey. Accessories for it may be of interest if you want to attend to details of the X-Evo 400's controls, whether you mainly commute or take longer rides.
• Exhausts: an option to explore if you are replacing this part of the scooter. Mivv is among the brands listed for the X-Evo 400; think about how you use the bike rather than assuming a different exhaust will change its performance.

For this scooter, the most useful additions depend on where it spends its time: parked between city errands, carrying you through the daily commute or covering miles out of town.
