Accessories for the Piaggio X8 125

The Piaggio X8 125 is a scooter suited to city journeys as well as trips on the road. If you use it for commuting, errands or regular rides across town, the accessories worth considering depend on what those journeys involve. Frequent stops make security important; longer stretches in the saddle bring wind and weather into the picture.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio X8 125

Rather than treating every journey alike, think about where you leave the X8 125 and how far you ride before you stop. The accessory types available here address different parts of that routine:

• Locks: useful when your X8 125 is left parked between errands or outside work. For a scooter used throughout the day, securing it each time you stop is a practical part of the journey, not just something to think about at home.
• Screens: on longer rides or faster roads, a screen can help deflect some of the airflow from the rider. That matters more when a journey extends beyond short hops through traffic.
• Covers and leg covers: a parked scooter and a rider travelling in cold or wet weather need different kinds of shelter. This category is relevant if the X8 125 is part of your routine even when the weather is less inviting.
• Handlebar accessories: worth considering if you want to adapt the riding position or controls to journeys with plenty of turns, low-speed manoeuvres and stops. Those details can matter on repeated trips across town.
• Exhausts: an option if you want to change the X8 125’s appearance or sound. For everyday use, it is worth weighing that against the accessories that address parking and exposure to the weather.

Brands represented among the accessories for this scooter include Artago, Mivv, Tucano Urbano, Givi and Urban. Start with the journey you make most often, then consider which part of it you would most like to improve.
