Accessories for the Piaggio Zip 50 2T

The Piaggio Zip 50 2T is a scooter well suited to everyday journeys, particularly around town. Short rides, frequent stops and time spent parked all shape what is worth fitting. Rather than preparing it for long-distance touring, it makes sense to focus on protection during daily use, useful information on unfamiliar routes and security when you leave it outside. A little extra shelter from the wind can also be welcome when your journey takes you onto more open roads.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio Zip 50 2T

• Protectors: help look after exposed parts of the scooter during the sort of tight parking manoeuvres and busy streets that come with urban riding. They are particularly relevant if your Zip is regularly parked among other bikes.
• Phone mounts: keep directions in view when you are crossing town or linking several stops in one trip. That is useful on a scooter used for errands, where pulling over to check each turn interrupts an otherwise straightforward ride.
• Screens: take some of the airflow off the rider, making repeated journeys more comfortable in cooler weather or on less sheltered roads. For the Zip, the appeal is practical day-to-day cover rather than turning a short commute into a touring set-up.
• Motorcycle locks: suit a scooter that may be left in different places over the course of a day, whether outside work or while you run errands. Options from Artago or Urban address the parking side of that routine.

Consider which part of your day makes the biggest difference: threading through town, finding your way somewhere new, riding in the wind or leaving the scooter parked. That points towards the accessory that will earn its place on your Zip.
