Accessories for the Piaggio Zip 50 ie 4T 3V E4

The Piaggio Zip 50 ie 4T 3V E4 is a scooter suited to getting about town, where short journeys, frequent stops and parking are part of everyday riding. That makes practical details more important than accessories aimed at long-distance touring. You may want to guard against minor knocks when manoeuvring, keep directions in sight on unfamiliar streets or take some of the wind out of an exposed stretch of road. The accessories available for this 2018–2020 model address those everyday needs without changing the way you use your scooter.

What riders usually fit to the Piaggio Zip 50 ie 4T 3V E4

• Protectors: a scooter used for errands is often wheeled in and out of tight parking spaces. Protectors help look after the areas they are made for when low-speed bumps or scuffs are a concern. They are particularly relevant if your Zip spends the day parked alongside other bikes or you regularly manoeuvre it in confined spaces.
• Phone mounts: finding a new address across town is easier when your route is visible without repeatedly reaching into a pocket. A mount keeps your phone in view for a quick glance at directions, useful when one short journey leads straight into another. Pull over before changing the route or using the phone.
• Screens: even on an urban journey, wind can become noticeable along broad, open roads. A screen can reduce the direct airflow you feel while riding, which is worth considering if you use the Zip through the colder months or regularly take a more exposed route to work or college.

Consider which part of your daily ride matters most: parking, navigation or exposure to the wind. That gives you a useful starting point for deciding what to fit to your Zip.
