Accessories for the QJ Motor SKR 800RR

On the QJ Motor SKR 800RR, where you sit and how you work the controls matter when the road starts to twist. That makes the rider’s contact points a useful place to begin when choosing accessories. Footpegs, handlebars and levers can affect how you position yourself on the bike, while protective parts address the exposed areas you may want to look after on regular rides.

What riders usually fit to the QJ Motor SKR 800RR

These accessory types are worth considering if your rides involve winding roads, everyday manoeuvres and an interest in how the bike feels beneath you:

• Footpegs: set the position of your feet and affect how you brace yourself as you change direction. They are particularly relevant if you pay close attention to your riding position through a series of bends.
• Protectors: help guard exposed areas against scuffs and minor knocks. That is useful when your SKR 800RR sees a mix of longer rides, parking and the close-quarters manoeuvres of daily use.
• Crash protectors and guards: provide a barrier at vulnerable points in the event of a tip-over or fall. They answer a different need from parts chosen mainly to change how the bike feels while riding.
• Handlebars: affect where your hands sit and how you feel when steering or manoeuvring. Think about the position you settle into on the SKR 800RR, particularly over the roads you ride most.
• Levers: are part of every braking and clutch input. On roads with frequent bends and changes of pace, the way you operate these controls deserves as much thought as your foot position.
• Bodywork and styling: offer a way to shape the bike’s appearance alongside the more practical changes. They suit riders who want its exterior to reflect their own approach to the SKR 800RR.

Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model. You can weigh up changes to your riding position against extra protection according to the journeys you make most often.
