Accessories for the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 brings café racer character to weekend rides and winding roads. It can also serve as everyday transport, though commuting and a few days away call for different additions. Choosing accessories is about keeping that classic look while addressing the practical side of your riding: wind exposure on open roads, comfort over longer distances and somewhere to carry your overnight kit.

What riders usually fit to the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

• Screens: useful for taking some of the wind pressure off your upper body when a ride includes faster, open stretches. On the Continental GT 650, the screen's shape also matters visually: it should sit comfortably with the café racer look rather than dominate it.
• Protection: intended to help limit damage to the areas covered in a fall. It is particularly worth considering when weekend leisure rides share the calendar with commuting, tight parking spaces and regular low-speed manoeuvres around town.
• Luggage: gives you somewhere to carry clothes and essentials for a short tour without relying entirely on a rucksack. With a café racer, matching carrying capacity to the length of the trip helps keep packing focused on what you actually need.
• Handlebar accessories: the riding position deserves thought if your usual journey mixes flowing bends with stop-start traffic. Accessories around the cockpit are relevant when looking to tailor your riding position, especially as occasional short outings become longer days in the saddle.
• Suspension: worth attention if your favourite routes pair bends with uneven surfaces. For this sort of road riding, the aim is a response suited to your pace and comfort needs, rather than treating every change as a step towards a track-focused setup.

For shorter leisure rides, wind management and riding position are sensible starting points. Add luggage to the plan when overnight stops become part of your Continental GT 650 trips.
