Accessories for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is a classic-style road bike that suits everyday journeys as well as unhurried rides beyond town. Its upright riding position makes it easy to imagine a commute during the week and a longer run along country roads at the weekend. What you fit depends on which of those journeys matters most: carrying a change of clothes, dealing with the wind or finding a riding position that feels right over distance.

What riders usually fit to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

• Luggage: useful when a ride turns into an overnight trip, or when you need to carry work essentials without wearing a rucksack. It gives an Interceptor 650 used for both commuting and leisure rides a more practical role; Givi is among the brands available.
• Screens: worth considering if you spend time on faster roads. A screen can take some of the wind pressure off the rider while leaving the Interceptor 650 suited to the relaxed rides that are part of its appeal.
• Handlebars: affect your reach to the controls and the way your arms sit during a ride. If your Interceptor 650 regularly covers more than a short hop, this is one area to consider when thinking about riding posture.
• Suspension: relevant when your routes include uneven town streets, country lanes or trips with luggage. It is an area to consider in relation to how you use the bike rather than how it looks; Öhlins is one of the available brands.
• Filters: belong on the maintenance list for an Interceptor 650 that sees regular use as well as weekend outings. They may not change what you carry or how you sit, but they matter when planning routine upkeep around the miles you ride.

You need not make every change at once. Luggage, wind protection and riding position each answer a different question about how you use your Interceptor 650.
