Accessories for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is a cruiser suited to taking your time on the road. It works for everyday rides as well as longer outings, when carrying luggage, dealing with wind and making room for a pillion become more important. The most useful accessories depend on which of those rides you have in mind: a short run out of town places different demands on the bike from a few days away.

What riders usually fit to the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

• Protective parts: help look after exposed areas when the bike sees regular use, from daily traffic to roads where loose debris is part of the ride. They are worth considering if you want added protection without changing how you use this road-going cruiser.
• Panniers: give you somewhere to pack clothes and personal belongings instead of carrying everything on your back. They make particular sense on the Super Meteor 650 for weekends away or trips with a pillion, when both riders need room for their things.
• Screens: offer shelter from the wind on longer road stretches. If your rides involve sustained time in the saddle, a screen can make those miles more comfortable while keeping the bike set up for the steady pace that suits a cruiser.
• Pillion accessories: are worth thinking about when riding together is a regular part of your plans. Preparing for the person behind you matters more on a day-long route than it does on a quick journey across town.
• Crash bars and sliders: add protection to consider for low-speed manoeuvres or when moving the bike with luggage aboard. Those moments become more familiar on a touring day, with frequent stops and a packed bike.

If weekends away are your priority, luggage and wind protection are natural places to start. For daily riding or frequent trips together, protective parts and pillion accessories may deserve just as much attention.
