Accessories for the Suzuki Burgman 400

The Suzuki Burgman 400 is a scooter for more than short hops across town. Commuting, journeys out of the city and relaxed weekend rides all shape what is worth adding to it. For that mix of riding, keeping the wind off, carrying everyday essentials and staying comfortable through colder months are useful priorities.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki Burgman 400

• Windscreens: A commute that includes dual carriageways puts more emphasis on wind protection than a journey spent entirely in town. A screen helps reduce the airflow reaching your upper body, making it a useful addition for longer stretches aboard the Burgman 400.
• Luggage: Carrying what you need for work calls for a different setup from travelling light around town. Luggage also earns its place on weekends away with a pillion, giving you somewhere to pack shared essentials rather than wearing a rucksack throughout the ride.
• Security locks: Leaving your Burgman on the street during working hours makes security an everyday concern. For urban journeys with several stops, keeping a lock readily accessible makes it easier to secure the scooter each time you park, rather than only at the end of the day.
• Scooter covers and leg covers: Leg covers help shelter your legs on cold-weather commutes, while a scooter cover protects the bike when parked. They address different parts of year-round ownership, particularly when your Burgman handles daily transport and spends its nights outdoors.
• Phone mounts: Navigation is useful when your commute takes you to unfamiliar parts of town or a weekend ride follows a new route. A mount keeps the phone secured for directions; set up your destination before moving off so you do not need to handle it while riding.
