Accessories for the Suzuki Gladius 400

The Suzuki Gladius 400 is a naked bike suited to everyday riding and trips along winding roads. Those two settings put different demands on the bike: town riding means frequent stops and changes of pace, while a weekend ride gives you time to enjoy how the bike feels and sounds. That is a useful way to approach the accessories on this page. The selection focuses on brakes and exhausts rather than touring luggage or other additions that may have little to do with how you use your Gladius 400.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki Gladius 400

For this bike, the most relevant choice is often between looking after a component you use on every ride and changing an aspect of the bike's character. The available accessory types address those aims in different ways:

• Brakes: city journeys on the Gladius 400 involve repeated slowing for junctions and traffic, while a ride through bends calls for measured braking as you approach each corner. This makes brake components worth considering when maintaining a bike that does both jobs. Braking is among the accessory brands available for this model.
• Exhausts: an exhaust can change how the Gladius 400 sounds on the road, whether your ride is a short trip across town or a longer stretch out of the city. It is an option if you want a more personal feel from a naked bike without shifting the focus away from the riding you already enjoy. Mivv is one of the brands represented here.

Think about where the Gladius 400 spends most of its time. Brakes matter throughout a stop-start commute and on a flowing ride; an exhaust is more about the sound you want to hear on both. Keeping those different purposes in mind makes the choice clearer.
