Accessories for the Suzuki GSF1200 Bandit ABS

The Suzuki GSF1200 Bandit ABS is a naked road bike suited to weekday commuting and weekend rides alike. That mix of town traffic, twisting roads and longer journeys makes wind protection, riding position and protection during low-speed manoeuvres sensible priorities when deciding what to fit.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSF1200 Bandit ABS

• Screens: useful when your Bandit spends more time on motorways and open roads than on short urban trips. A screen helps deflect airflow away from your torso, making wind protection a worthwhile consideration for longer days in the saddle.
• Protectors: help shield the areas they cover from minor knocks or damage in a stationary fall. For a Bandit used throughout the week, that protection is particularly relevant when parking or manoeuvring in and out of a garage.
• Handlebar accessories: the position of your hands matters both in town traffic and through a sequence of bends. Changes around the bars can help tailor the Bandit's riding position to a routine that includes commuting and leisure rides.
• Mirrors: keeping track of traffic behind you matters at urban junctions and before changing lanes on faster roads. On a naked bike such as the Bandit, mirrors also play a noticeable part in the appearance of the front end.
• Number plate holders: a common choice for giving a naked bike a tidier-looking rear end. They suit a Bandit owner focusing on appearance rather than adding equipment for longer journeys.

Bandit versions: 1996-1998, 1999 and 2000

The GSF1200 Bandit ABS has changed over the years, so the 1996-1998, 1999 and 2000 versions do not always take the same parts. Screens, protectors and fairing or styling pieces are among the accessories that differ most for the 2000 version and cannot be assumed to fit every year.
