Accessories for the Suzuki GSF1200S Bandit

The Suzuki GSF1200S Bandit is an all-round road bike suited to everyday journeys, winding-road rides and touring. The right accessories depend on how you divide your time between those uses. Regular motorway miles put wind protection higher on the list, while weekends away with a pillion make luggage more useful than purely cosmetic changes.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSF1200S Bandit

• Screens: worth prioritising when reaching your favourite roads involves a long motorway stretch. A screen helps deflect airflow away from your body, making wind protection a practical consideration for a Bandit used for full days on the road.
• Handlebars: bar position affects your reach and riding posture. If your Bandit handles both commuting and longer trips, a comfortable relationship between your hands, shoulders and upper body matters more than choosing a different shape just for its appearance.
• Protectors: help limit damage in minor falls. They make particular sense on a daily-use Bandit that is regularly wheeled into parking spaces or manoeuvred in tight spots, rather than spending all its time on open roads.
• Luggage: cases provide space for the things you need on a weekend away. For two-up touring on the Bandit, they also leave the pillion seat free instead of using it to carry a bag, keeping passenger space and luggage separate.

Bandit versions: 1996-2000 and 2001-2006

The Suzuki GSF1200S Bandit has changed over the years, so the 1996-2000 and 2001-2006 versions do not always take the same accessories. Parts such as screens, protectors and bodywork accessories can differ and should not be treated as interchangeable across all years.
