Accessories for the Suzuki GSF600S Bandit

The Suzuki GSF600S Bandit is a versatile road bike suited to commuting, weekend rides on twisty roads and longer trips. The accessories worth fitting depend on how you divide your time between those uses. Wind protection matters more when you spend hours on open roads, while riding position and luggage space deserve attention if the same bike also handles your daily journeys.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSF600S Bandit

• Screens: for a Bandit used on longer rides, a screen can help take wind pressure off your upper body, particularly on motorway stretches between quieter roads. Its height and shape affect where the airflow reaches your chest and helmet.
• Handlebars: hand position deserves thought when your riding ranges from town traffic to full days on country roads. Handlebar choice can help tailor reach and upper-body posture, so consider the position you want to maintain over a day's riding, not just a short commute.
• Crash protectors and bars: daily use often involves parking spaces, garages and awkward low-speed manoeuvres. These accessories can help limit damage in certain falls, making them a practical consideration for a regularly used Bandit; the areas covered depend on the individual design.
• Luggage: weekend trips and holidays with a pillion create a need for somewhere to carry clothing and other essentials without relying entirely on a rucksack. On a Bandit that doubles as weekday transport, luggage also gives everyday belongings a place on the bike.

Choosing parts for the 1996-1999 and 2000-2003 versions

The GSF600S Bandit has changed over the years, so the 1996-1999 and 2000-2003 versions do not take all the same accessories. Screens, protectors and bodywork parts are examples that cannot be assumed to fit both. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the parts that fit your version.
