Accessories for the Suzuki GSF650S Bandit ABS

The Suzuki GSF650S Bandit ABS is a road-going all-rounder, equally at home on the daily commute, a winding weekend route or a longer trip. How you divide your riding between those jobs helps determine which accessories make sense. Wind protection and luggage matter when covering distance, while regular town riding puts more emphasis on protection and the controls you use throughout the journey.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSF650S Bandit ABS

• Screens: worth considering if your Bandit regularly covers motorway miles before reaching quieter roads. A screen helps redirect airflow around the rider, with its height and profile affecting where that air meets you in your normal riding position.
• Protectors and crash protection: can help limit damage to particular areas in a stationary drop or low-speed fall. For a Bandit used throughout the working week, that is relevant when parking, turning around or manoeuvring through confined spaces is part of the routine.
• Luggage: gives you somewhere to carry your belongings rather than keeping everything in a rucksack. It suits both commuting essentials and weekend trips, and becomes particularly useful when a pillion’s belongings also need a place on the bike.
• Levers: frequent clutch use in town makes the shape and reach of the levers worth attention. On a Bandit that also spends weekends on winding roads, these contact points remain important long after the stop-start part of the journey is over.
• Fasteners: useful for replacing missing or deteriorated fixings and tidying visible details. They offer a practical way to look after a Bandit that handles weekday transport as well as leisure rides, without making every change a styling exercise.

For mixed commuting and touring, base your luggage needs on what you actually carry. If most outings involve little baggage, wind protection may deserve attention before extra carrying capacity.
