Accessories for the Suzuki GSR750

The Suzuki GSR750 is a naked bike suited to everyday journeys and weekends on winding roads. Those two roles call for different priorities when choosing accessories. Regular motorway miles make wind protection worth considering, while town riding puts the focus on comfortable controls and protection for exposed areas. Your riding position matters too, particularly when a short ride turns into a full day out.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSR750

• Screens: a screen helps divert some of the airflow away from your upper body. On a naked bike such as the GSR750, that makes it a useful addition for motorway commuting or longer road rides, rather than simply a change of appearance.
• Crash protectors and crash bars: these aim to limit damage to particular areas if the bike goes over. For a GSR750 used around town, their practical role is especially relevant when parking or manoeuvring in tight spaces, where recovering your balance can be difficult.
• Handlebars: bar geometry affects where your hands sit and how you position your arms and upper body. Changing the bars on the GSR750 is a way to tailor its riding position around both weekday traffic and winding roads, rather than concentrating solely on styling.
• Levers: lever shape and reach influence how your fingers operate the brake and clutch. If your GSR750 regularly moves between stop-start traffic and country roads, comfortable contact with those controls deserves attention, particularly on journeys that involve frequent braking and clutch use.
• Number plate holders: these change how the plate sits and how the rear of the bike looks. On the GSR750, they make sense as a finishing touch to its naked styling once your priorities for wind protection, riding position and everyday manoeuvres are covered.
