Accessories for the Suzuki GSX-8TT

Daily journeys and weekend road rides put different demands on a Suzuki GSX-8TT. For town use, protection and comfortable controls are useful starting points; longer outings bring wind management and foot support into focus. Building around the riding you actually do gives each accessory a clear purpose, rather than changing parts simply for the sake of it.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSX-8TT

• Screens: longer stretches of open road make airflow around your upper body more noticeable. A screen helps manage that airflow, with its height and shape influencing the shelter it provides. This matters particularly when you want to stay comfortable without spending the ride tucked down.
• Protectors and crash bars: regular town riding means parking, turning in tight spaces and moving the bike at walking pace. Protection for exposed areas can help limit damage if your GSX-8TT tips over during these manoeuvres, although it cannot prevent every mark or broken part.
• Levers: repeated clutch and brake use in traffic puts the way your fingers meet the controls into focus. Lever shape and reach affect that contact. On winding roads, a comfortable hand position also matters as you move between braking, changing gear and accelerating.
• Footpegs: secure foot support is worth considering for rides that link one bend to the next. Peg shape and surface influence how your boots sit as you shift your riding position, while longer days on the road make sustained comfort just as relevant.
• Phone mounts: navigation is useful whether you are finding an unfamiliar address in town or following a new weekend route. A mount provides a place for your phone with directions in view, rather than keeping it in a pocket. Set up the route before moving off.
