Accessories for the Suzuki GSX1250FA

The Suzuki GSX1250FA is a road bike well suited to covering distance, whether that means a weekend away or a longer tour. What you fit to it depends on how those miles look in practice: riding two-up with luggage calls for a different set-up from regular solo journeys with the occasional trip. Space for your kit, comfort over a long day and protection during everyday manoeuvres are all worth considering.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSX1250FA

• Luggage cases: useful for dividing your kit between both sides of the bike on a multi-day ride, while keeping the passenger seat available when travelling together. SW-Motech is among the accessory brands listed for this model.
• Protection: helps look after exposed areas when moving or parking the bike at low speed. That can be particularly relevant on a tour, when you may be manoeuvring with luggage fitted and stopping in unfamiliar places.
• Exhausts: offer a way to alter the bike’s sound and appearance. For a GSX1250FA used on both short journeys and long motorway stretches, it is worth thinking about how that change will feel across both kinds of ride. Mivv is one of the available brands.
• Mudguards: help limit spray on wet roads, a practical consideration when a planned day’s riding carries on through a change in weather rather than ending at the first shower.
• Handlebars: bring the position of your hands and arms into focus. On a bike used for hours in the saddle, the way that position feels can matter more than it does on a quick local run.

Suzuki GSX1250FA versions by year

The GSX1250FA has changed over the years, and the 2009 version does not always take the same parts as the 2010-2016 versions. Protectors and mudguards in particular may not fit every year. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours, rather than assuming a similar-looking part will do.

Before planning a touring set-up, consider how often you carry a passenger, how much kit you take and what the bike does between longer rides.
