Accessories for the Suzuki RGV 250

The Suzuki RGV 250 is a sports bike at home on winding roads and one that riders may also take to the track. That kind of riding puts the emphasis on braking feel and how the bike responds through a bend, rather than on carrying luggage. For the 1988-1998 model years, the accessories here focus on two areas that matter when riding it in that way: brakes and suspension.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki RGV 250

It helps to think about where you spend most of your time on the RGV 250. A ride through a series of bends on the road is different from a track session, but both give you plenty of reason to pay attention to the bike's response.

• Brakes: on a twisting road, being able to judge and control your braking as you approach each corner is part of finding a smooth rhythm. Track riding brings repeated braking points into the picture, making this area particularly relevant if that is how you use your RGV 250. Braking is among the accessory brands represented in this category for the bike.
• Suspension: the way the RGV 250 settles into a bend, changes direction and deals with uneven road surfaces shapes the ride on a favourite stretch of road. It is also worth considering if you divide your time between road rides and track days, where you may want a response suited to a different pace. Öhlins is one of the brands available in this category.

These two areas address different parts of the same ride: slowing the bike for a corner and feeling how it behaves through it. Your usual routes are a useful starting point when deciding which matters most to you.
