Accessories for the Suzuki SV650X

The Suzuki SV650X brings café racer style to everyday riding and weekends on winding roads. That mix makes riding position just as relevant as appearance when choosing accessories. A bike used for regular journeys through town has different priorities from one taken out mainly for longer country-road rides, even if you want to preserve the same understated, classic look.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki SV650X

• Handlebars: Your handlebar setup influences arm position and how far you lean forwards. For an SV650X used both in traffic and on twisty roads, this is a useful place to balance a sportier riding stance with comfort over longer periods.
• Footrests: Secure, comfortable support for your feet matters when shifting your body position through a series of bends. On weekend rides with the SV650X, the footrests deserve attention alongside the bars, rather than being treated purely as styling details.
• Brake and clutch levers: Stop-start town riding keeps both hands busy, while open-road riding calls for comfortable control inputs too. Levers offer a way to personalise these contact points on your SV650X while choosing a finish that suits its café racer character.
• Crash protection: Everyday use includes parking and low-speed manoeuvres, not just the enjoyable stretches between them. Frame sliders and crash bars can help limit damage in a stationary or low-speed fall, giving an urban SV650X a practical addition beyond cosmetic changes.
• Mirrors: They contribute to the café racer silhouette, but rearward visibility remains important when moving through traffic. For an SV650X used around town, their usefulness during lane changes should carry as much weight as how they look on the bike.

If longer rides are becoming a regular part of your SV650X ownership, focus first on the controls and contact points. A number plate holder can follow as a separate styling change for the rear of the bike.
