Accessories for the SYM ADX TG 400

The SYM ADX TG 400 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys as well as rides beyond the city. That mix of uses shapes the accessories worth considering: somewhere to carry daily essentials, a little more shelter on the open road and a set-up that takes a pillion into account. A short commute and a weekend ride with luggage place different demands on the same scooter, so it helps to start with the journeys you actually make.

What riders usually fit to the SYM ADX TG 400

• Luggage cases: useful for carrying what you need through the working week or packing for a trip away. On a scooter used for both town and longer rides, they offer an alternative to wearing a bag. They become particularly relevant when two people are travelling and there is more to bring along.
• Screens: help manage the airflow around the rider. They make most sense when your usual route includes stretches of open road, where spending longer in the wind can affect how comfortable the ride feels. Think about the riding you do beyond the city, rather than just the shortest trip across it.
• Pillion accessories: worth considering if the ADX TG 400 regularly carries two people. When you plan a ride together, the person on the back matters as much as the luggage you need to take; this category lets you give that part of the set-up some attention.
• Exhausts: an option for riders who want to give their scooter a more individual character. If the ADX TG 400 is more than a means of getting around town, an exhaust can be part of making it feel more your own.

For regular journeys with a pillion, consider their needs alongside your carrying space. For solo rides on faster roads, a screen may be the more useful place to start.
