Accessories for the SYM Fiddle II 50 4T AC E2

The SYM Fiddle II 50 4T AC E2 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town. Short trips, frequent stops and time spent parked outside all shape which accessories are worth fitting. For the 2007–2017 model years, the focus is less on carrying kit for a long journey and more on making daily riding and parking easier. The right additions depend on whether you spend most of your time on the move, finding your way across town or leaving the scooter between errands.

What riders usually fit to the SYM Fiddle II 50 4T AC E2

• Security locks: urban riding often means leaving the scooter outside a workplace, a shop or a café several times in one day. A lock lets you secure it during those stops, rather than treating parking as an afterthought.
• Screens: a screen helps take some of the wind off your upper body on everyday journeys. It can make a noticeable difference if your route includes open roads on the edge of town or you ride regularly in cooler weather.
• Protectors: parking and turning a scooter around in tight spaces are familiar parts of city riding. Protectors add a barrier to the areas they cover against the minor knocks and scrapes associated with those manoeuvres.
• Phone mounts: keeping directions in view is useful when a day’s riding involves several addresses or unfamiliar streets. A mount makes it easier to follow an urban route without taking your phone out at every stop.
• Covers and leg covers: these are worth considering if the Fiddle II stays outside between rides or you continue commuting when the weather turns colder. Tucano Urbano is among the accessory brands listed for this scooter.

Think about your usual journey rather than an occasional ride: protection from the wind, parking security and clear directions each solve a different part of day-to-day scooter use.
