Accessories for the SYM GTS 125

The SYM GTS 125 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town. That sort of riding shapes which accessories are worth fitting: think about where you leave the scooter, how often you ride in colder weather and what you need within easy reach on a typical trip. Accessories also have a job to do when the scooter is parked, not just when you are riding it. This page covers the GTS 125 from 2006 to 2017.

What riders usually fit to the SYM GTS 125

For regular city use, practical choices often come down to parking and the weather. A short commute with several stops calls for a different approach from a scooter kept indoors and ridden only occasionally, even if the route through town is much the same.

• Security locks: a useful consideration when your GTS 125 is left on the street outside work, at the shops or during other stops. Artago is among the accessory brands available for this scooter if securing it while parked is a priority.
• Handlebar accessories: the handlebars are where you interact with the scooter throughout a ride, particularly on streets with frequent junctions and stops. This category is worth looking at if you want to address that part of your everyday riding set-up.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is relevant when the scooter spends time parked outdoors, while a leg cover comes into its own when you keep riding through colder days. Tucano Urbano is one of the brands available for this area of everyday use.

Start with the conditions your scooter faces most often. A GTS 125 left outside all day may call for different accessories from one used for shorter trips and parked under cover.
