Accessories for the SYM GTS 250

The SYM GTS 250 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys, from crossing town to taking a faster road when the route calls for it. That pattern of use shapes the accessories worth considering. A scooter used regularly needs to be practical when parked, comfortable through repeated stops and starts, and ready for less pleasant weather. This page covers accessories for GTS 250 models from 2006 to 2017.

What riders usually fit to the SYM GTS 250

For a scooter that forms part of a daily routine, the useful choices are often about what happens between rides as much as the journey itself: where you leave it, how often you stop and what the weather is like on the way home.

• Security accessories: particularly relevant if your GTS 250 is parked in different places while you commute or run errands. Adding a security device to your parking routine makes sense for a quick stop in town as well as for the hours when the scooter is left unattended.
• Handlebar accessories: the handlebar is central to the way this scooter feels through junctions, traffic lights and low-speed manoeuvres. Accessories for this area are worth considering if you want to focus on hand comfort and the controls you use throughout a stop-start urban journey.
• Covers and leg covers: useful at different points in a typical day with the GTS 250. A cover is practical when the scooter spends time parked outdoors, while a leg cover helps shield your legs from cold air when you carry on riding through the cooler months.

Accessory brands represented for this model include Artago, Tucano Urbano and Urban. Your usual parking arrangements and the length of your daily ride are good starting points when deciding which of these areas matters most to you.
