Accessories for the SYM HD 200i

The SYM HD 200i is a scooter suited to city journeys and everyday errands. On that sort of ride, stopping, parking and setting off again are as much a part of the day as the time spent on the road. Useful accessories therefore need to make sense not only while you are riding, but also when the scooter is parked or waiting outside in changing weather.

What riders usually fit to the SYM HD 200i

• Protectors: regular use around town can mean tight parking spaces and repeated manoeuvres at low speed. Protection is worth considering for the exposed areas of your HD 200i, particularly if you often wheel it into a small space or park close to other vehicles.
• Security locks: a scooter used for several trips in a day may be left in different places, even when each stop is short. A lock from Artago or Urban can become part of your parking routine, rather than something you only think about for longer stays.
• Phone mounts: when a city journey takes you somewhere unfamiliar, having directions within sight is more practical than checking your phone at every junction. A mount keeps the route accessible from the riding position, especially if your usual week includes several different destinations.
• Covers and leg covers: outdoor parking and riding through colder weather create different needs around the same daily scooter. A cover is relevant when the HD 200i is left outside; a leg cover makes more sense for journeys when you want extra shelter while riding.

Think about which part of your routine asks the most of the scooter: frequent stops, unfamiliar routes, outdoor parking or riding in the cold. That gives you a useful way to prioritise accessories for your SYM HD 200i without adding things that will rarely see use.
