Accessories for the SYM Jet 14 50 ie 4T AC E5

The SYM Jet 14 50 ie 4T AC E5 is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town. Whether you use it for commuting, errands or getting across the city, the most useful accessories tend to address what happens along the way: frequent parking, close manoeuvres and stretches where you feel the wind. The aim is not to turn a city scooter into a touring bike, but to make the journeys you actually take more comfortable and less of a worry.

What riders usually fit to the SYM Jet 14 50 ie 4T AC E5

• Protectors: squeezing into a parking space and manoeuvring near kerbs are familiar parts of urban riding. Protectors help shield exposed areas from the minor knocks and scrapes that can come with that routine. They are worth considering if your scooter is parked and moved several times in a typical day.
• Security locks: a scooter used around town may be left in several different places between one journey and the next. A lock gives you a way to secure it while you run an errand or leave it parked for longer. Think about the stops you make most often: security is most useful when you can make using it part of every stop.
• Screens: wind can become more noticeable on open roads or wider routes through town. A screen offers some shelter for your upper body, which can make repeated journeys more pleasant, particularly when the weather is cool. For a scooter used throughout the week, that small change in exposure may matter more than it first seems.

With this SYM, it makes sense to start with the part of your daily ride that you notice most: parking, keeping the scooter secure or coping with the wind. Those priorities make the choice more useful than fitting accessories simply because they are available.
