Accessories for the SYM Maxsym 400i ABS

The SYM Maxsym 400i ABS is a scooter suited to everyday journeys as well as longer rides. That mix makes accessory choices rather practical. Frequent stops put the focus on securing the scooter when you park; more time on the road draws attention to how you feel at the handlebars. If you ride throughout the year, it is also worth thinking about the conditions you face before setting off and where the scooter is left between journeys.

What riders usually fit to the SYM Maxsym 400i ABS

• Security devices: a scooter used for commuting and errands may be parked several times in one day. A security device gives you a way to make securing the Maxsym part of that routine, whether you are stepping away briefly or leaving it for longer. Think about the places where you regularly stop, rather than just the journey itself.
• Handlebar accessories: the demands of threading through town and holding a steady position on a longer ride are different. Parts in this area are worth considering in light of how you hold the bars and how that position feels after time in the saddle. What matters on a short trip to the shops may not be what you notice after an extended ride.
• Covers and leg covers: regular use means dealing with days when the weather is less inviting, as well as considering where the scooter spends its time parked. This category is relevant if rain or lower temperatures form part of your riding routine. Consider whether protection while riding or while the Maxsym is parked is the more useful priority for you.

It helps to separate what you need on the move from what matters once you stop. For mostly urban journeys, parking and repeated short trips may shape your choices; on longer routes, riding position and exposure to the weather may matter more. Start with the situations your SYM Maxsym 400i ABS encounters most often.
