That makes protection, shelter from the weather and practical help with navigation more relevant than accessories intended for long-distance touring. This page covers the Mio 115 ie E4 from 2018 to 2020, so you can focus on what makes sense for the way you use yours.

What riders usually fit to the SYM Mio 115 ie E4

A short hop across town brings different priorities from a daily commute that includes exposed roads or an outdoor parking space. These are the accessory types worth considering for the situations this scooter commonly encounters:

• Protectors: tight parking spaces and repeated low-speed manoeuvres can leave a city scooter vulnerable to minor knocks. Protectors help limit damage to the areas they cover when those everyday mishaps happen.
• Phone mounts: useful when a journey takes you through unfamiliar streets or several stops across town. Keeping directions in view makes navigating those changes of route less awkward than stopping to check your phone.
• Screens: a screen can take some of the wind off you on more open urban roads or short stretches beyond the city. It can also make an exposed commute more comfortable when the weather turns.
• Security locks: particularly relevant if you regularly leave the Mio on the street while at work or running errands. They add a measure of security during the stops that punctuate urban riding.
• Covers and leg covers: a cover is useful when the scooter is parked outdoors for extended periods. A leg cover addresses a different part of the same routine: riding through colder or wetter days with more shelter for your legs.

Where you park and how exposed your usual route is will do more to guide your choice than the length of the journey alone.
