Accessories for the SYM Orbit 50

The SYM Orbit 50 is a 50 cc scooter suited to everyday travel around town. Whether you use it for a short commute, college or errands, your journey may involve frequent stops and parking in different places. That makes practical accessories particularly relevant: ones that help when you leave the scooter, operate the brakes and keep track of traffic around you. There is no need to approach a city scooter as though it were being prepared for a long-distance tour.

What riders usually fit to the SYM Orbit 50

The most useful choices reflect the way this scooter is ridden rather than the length of the journey. These three types of accessory address situations you are likely to encounter repeatedly around town:

• Security locks: a useful consideration when the Orbit 50 is left outside a shop, at college or near your workplace. On a day with several stops, a lock that fits easily into your parking routine is easier to use consistently than one you find awkward when you are in a hurry.
• Brake levers: urban journeys involve repeated braking at junctions, crossings and traffic lights. Replacing a damaged lever can bring the controls back to a familiar feel, while choosing levers for this scooter keeps the focus on the hand controls you rely on throughout an ordinary ride.
• Mirrors: busy streets call for regular checks before turning, moving across a lane or pulling away from a parking space. Mirrors therefore matter on the Orbit 50 even when a trip only takes a few minutes: they help you stay aware of vehicles approaching from behind.

Think about where you normally leave your scooter and the streets you ride most often. For the Orbit 50, those everyday details are a sensible guide to deciding whether security, brake controls or rearward visibility deserves attention first.
