Accessories for the SYM Symphony 125 ie SR 4T AC E5

The SYM Symphony 125 ie SR 4T AC E5 is a scooter suited to everyday travel. For commuting, running errands and getting across town, the useful additions are often those that make frequent stops easier, help with changing weather or improve comfort on familiar routes. Where you park and how far you ride each day matter more than fitting accessories for their own sake.

What riders usually fit to the SYM Symphony 125 ie SR 4T AC E5

• Locks: regular street parking makes security part of the daily routine. A lock is especially relevant when you leave the scooter outside work or make several brief stops for errands rather than parking it just once.
• Protectors: tight parking spaces and low-speed manoeuvres are familiar parts of urban riding. Protectors help shield exposed areas from the minor knocks and scuffs that can happen when moving the scooter in and out of those spaces.
• Phone mounts: a visible place for navigation is useful when a journey takes you beyond your usual route, whether you are finding a new address or crossing an unfamiliar part of town. It also saves repeatedly putting your phone away between stops.
• Screens: if your commute includes open roads as well as slower streets, a screen can lessen the wind reaching you from the front. That can make a noticeable difference on the stretches where you ride at a steadier speed.
• Covers and leg covers: year-round scooter use means dealing with both outdoor parking and colder rides. Depending on the accessory, these options can help protect a parked scooter from the weather or offer more shelter for the rider on chilly mornings.

The most useful setup follows your routine. A scooter left outside for much of the day calls for different priorities from one used for a succession of short journeys, even if both spend most of their time in town.
