Accessories for the SYM X-PRO 50 4T AC E4

The SYM X-PRO 50 4T AC E4 is a 50 cc scooter suited to getting around town. Short journeys bring their own demands: there are junctions to negotiate, spaces to park in and unfamiliar streets to find. That makes accessories for everyday manoeuvres and navigation more relevant than equipment intended for long-distance rides. How often you stop, and whether your destination changes from day to day, can help you decide what is worth fitting.

What riders usually fit to the SYM X-PRO 50 4T AC E4

The accessory types available for this scooter address two familiar parts of urban riding. One is looking after the bike as you move it in confined spaces or leave it parked; the other is making it easier to follow a route across town. Neither requires you to change the way you use the scooter, but each is useful in a different daily routine.

• Protectors: frequent stops mean more time manoeuvring into parking spaces and moving past other parked vehicles. Protection can help limit the effect of minor knocks and scuffs in those situations, particularly if you regularly park somewhere tight rather than in an open space.
• Phone mounts: a visible route is handy when your day takes you to several addresses or through streets you do not know well. A mount gives your phone a place while you ride, so you need not take it out at every stop just to recall the next turn. Keep your attention on the road and stop before checking anything in detail.

For this SYM, the most useful choice depends on the journeys you actually make: a familiar commute and a day of changing destinations call for different priorities.
