Accessories for TRIUMPH DAYTONA 1200

Accessories for the Triumph Daytona 1200

The Triumph Daytona 1200 is a road-going sports bike suited to winding roads and longer rides. What makes sense to fit depends on how you spend time with it: a day out on the bends puts the focus on riding, while regular use also means thinking about where the bike waits between trips. Accessories for this model can therefore serve different purposes without all trying to change the way it feels on the road.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Daytona 1200

Protection, handlebar accessories and covers are the main areas to consider here. They address different parts of owning a Daytona 1200, from riding position and exposed areas to looking after the bike once it is parked. It helps to decide which of those matters most to the way you use yours.

• Protectors: on a sports bike taken out to enjoy a series of bends, exposed areas are worth thinking about. Protectors are relevant if you want to look after those parts during regular road use and reduce the risk of damage from a scrape or a fall. They are a practical consideration alongside the enjoyment of the ride.
• Handlebar accessories: where your hands rest matters when a ride mixes twisting roads with longer stretches. Accessories around the bars are worth considering if you pay attention to your contact with the controls and how your riding position feels as the miles add up. This is about the part of the bike you interact with throughout the journey.
• Covers and blankets: not every useful accessory comes into play while riding. A cover helps keep the Daytona 1200 protected from dust when it is parked, particularly if it sits unused between outings. It addresses the time between rides rather than changing your experience on a favourite stretch of road.

If your bike spends some weekends on the road and others parked up, those two situations call for different accessories. Think about both when deciding what is useful for your Daytona 1200.
