Accessories for the Triumph Daytona 660

The Triumph Daytona 660 is a sports bike suited to everyday journeys as well as outings on winding roads. How you use yours helps set the priorities: comfort at the controls matters in traffic, while wind protection becomes more relevant on longer rides. Protection for exposed parts and changes to the bike’s appearance offer two different directions for a more personalised setup.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Daytona 660

• Levers: Your connection to the brake and clutch deserves attention on a sports bike used throughout the week. Lever shape affects how your fingers meet the controls, whether you are working through stop-start traffic or applying the brakes on a twisting road.
• Footpegs: These provide support for your boots as you move with the bike through bends. On a Daytona used for both commuting and weekend rides, a secure, comfortable foothold matters beyond a short stretch of corners, particularly as the miles add up.
• Screens: A screen helps divert airflow around the rider. It is particularly relevant if reaching your favourite roads involves a motorway journey, where sustained exposure to the wind makes shelter more useful than it is on a short ride across town.
• Protectors and crash bungs: These can help limit damage in some low-speed falls. They are a practical consideration for a Daytona that doubles as everyday transport, especially when your routine involves parking manoeuvres or moving the bike through confined spaces.
• Tail tidies: Changing the number plate holder can give the rear of the Daytona a neater appearance that complements its sporting style. This is a focused cosmetic option when your aim is to alter the look rather than the riding position or wind protection.

Consider levers and footpegs together: the way your hands and feet contact the bike should remain comfortable for the whole journey, not just the first few bends.
