Accessories for the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC suits riders whose routes mix country roads with unpaved tracks, without ruling out the everyday commute. Its classic scrambler style is part of the appeal, but the way you ride should guide the additions. Track outings put protection and secure footing first, while longer road journeys make wind protection more relevant to its upright riding position.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC

• Protectors and crash bars: Exploring tracks brings the possibility of scrapes and low-speed tumbles, making protection for exposed areas a practical priority. It also has a role when manoeuvring the Scrambler on uneven ground, where an awkward foothold can lead to a drop.
• Footpegs: Switching between roads and tracks means supporting your boots both seated and standing. Peg shape and tread become particularly important when you rise out of the seat to move with the bike over uneven surfaces, rather than staying seated throughout the ride.
• Screens: The upright scrambler riding position leaves wind protection worth considering for motorway links and longer days on tarmac. A compact screen keeps the visual change modest, whereas greater coverage puts more emphasis on shelter during sustained road riding.
• Levers: Frequent clutch and brake use in town, followed by a winding-road ride at the weekend, makes finger position more than a cosmetic detail. Lever shape and reach deserve attention when these journeys form the bulk of your time on the Scrambler.
• Mirrors: Mirrors help shape the bike's classic appearance, yet daily traffic and country-road junctions make a useful rearward view essential. On a road-focused Scrambler, their position and the view they provide matter just as much as the finish.

For regular track outings, start with protection and footing. For predominantly road-based riding, wind coverage and comfortable contact with the controls are more likely to guide your setup.
