Accessories for the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR suits riders who enjoy winding roads and may also spend time on track. Its sporting focus makes riding position, control and protection useful starting points when choosing accessories. Road use brings another consideration: the journeys between your favourite stretches of bends, where managing wind exposure can matter as much as the finishing touches.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR

• Screens: help manage airflow over your upper body on faster connecting roads. For the RR, screen shape is worth considering alongside your riding position: sitting more upright on the journey and leaning forwards through a flowing section place different demands on wind protection.
• Protectors: are a practical addition for weekend road rides as well as occasional track days. They are intended to shield exposed areas from contact or abrasion. On a sport-focused build, the area each protector covers matters more than matching its finish to the rest of the bike.
• Levers: put the emphasis on how your hands work the brake and clutch through a succession of corners. A lever shape that suits your grip can make those repeated inputs more comfortable, particularly when a twisty route calls for frequent braking and gear changes.
• Footrests: give your feet a supporting contact point as you move your body through bends. On the Speed Triple 1200 RR, their grip and position deserve attention if you want a riding setup that works for both longer road outings and sessions on track.
• Number plate holders: offer a tidier-looking rear end for a road-focused styling project. They complement the RR’s sporting character visually, rather than changing your contact with the bike, so they serve a different purpose from the levers, footrests and protection used in a track-oriented setup.
