Accessories for the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS is a sporty naked bike suited to winding roads, everyday riding and occasional track days. That mix puts rider contact points, protection and airflow high on the list: accessories that make a difference on a short commute may not be your first priority during a long day on open roads.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS

• Screens: without much shelter from the wind, the stretches between your favourite bends can become tiring on a naked bike. A screen helps redirect airflow, making it a worthwhile consideration when your Speed Triple regularly covers motorway miles or longer cross-country routes.
• Protectors: the exposed areas of a naked bike are worth looking after, whether you ride through town or head out for a spirited weekend run. Protectors can help limit damage from minor drops or slides, with different designs serving different areas of the bike.
• Levers: braking for a bend and working the clutch in slow traffic place different demands on your hands. For a Speed Triple used in both settings, lever shape and comfort with your usual gloves deserve more attention than matching colours alone.
• Footpegs: secure foot placement matters when you shift your weight through a sequence of corners. If you mix road rides with track days, consider the support surface and riding position offered, while keeping knee comfort over longer distances in mind.
• Tail tidies: a less cluttered rear end suits the Speed Triple’s sporty naked style. This is mainly a visual change rather than a comfort upgrade; a road-going installation still needs to meet the relevant number plate, lighting and signalling requirements.

For longer road rides, start with wind management and comfortable contact points. If bends and track sessions dominate your riding, give controls and protection more weight in your plans.
