Accessories for TRIUMPH SPEED TWIN 1200 RS

Accessories for the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS

The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS pairs classic roadster styling with a sporty approach to road riding. Accessories should reflect how you use it: weekend runs along winding roads place the emphasis on contact with the controls, while weekday journeys bring wind protection and low-speed protection into the picture. A useful set-up balances those needs rather than focusing entirely on appearance or preparing the bike solely for longer trips.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS

• Screens: help deflect airflow away from your upper body, particularly on motorway stretches between your favourite back roads. For this roadster, a screen makes sense when getting to the interesting part of a route involves a sustained spell on faster, more exposed roads.
• Levers: shape and reach affect how your fingers engage with the brake and clutch. That contact matters when feeding in braking effort on a twisting road, but it also deserves attention if your Speed Twin 1200 RS spends weekdays working through stop-start traffic.
• Footrests: give your feet their support when riding through bends and help shape your riding position. On a roadster used for spirited weekend outings, grip and a position you can comfortably maintain matter beyond the most demanding section of the route.
• Protectors and crash bungs: help limit damage to the areas they cover in a low-speed fall. They are worth prioritising when city riding is part of your routine, with tight parking spaces and awkward manoeuvres to negotiate between longer weekend rides.
• Number plate holders: change how the plate sits visually within the rear of the bike. On the classically styled Speed Twin 1200 RS, they offer a way to personalise the tail area when appearance matters more to your plans than adding touring accessories.

For mixed urban and weekend use, put contact points and protection first. If longer journeys regularly include motorways, wind protection deserves more attention than purely cosmetic changes.
