Accessories for the Triumph Street Triple 675 R

Commuting during the week and heading for twisting roads at the weekend call for different priorities on the Triumph Street Triple 675 R. This sporty naked suits both, so useful additions are not just about appearance. Protection matters around town, a screen earns its place on longer stretches of open road, and changes to the riding position should leave you comfortable and free to move.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Street Triple 675 R

• Screens: worth considering when your favourite roads involve a motorway journey first. A screen helps redirect some of the airflow away from your upper body, making wind management a practical consideration on a naked used beyond short urban trips.
• Protectors and crash bungs: useful for a Street Triple that regularly deals with parking spaces, traffic and low-speed manoeuvres. They help limit damage to the areas they cover in a fall, giving protection a clear purpose even without any track riding.
• Levers and handlebars: focus attention on how your hands and arms meet the bike. For mixed commuting and weekend use, the aim is a comfortable reach to the controls in traffic without making your position awkward when the road becomes more demanding.
• Footrests: foot support becomes more noticeable as you move from everyday riding to a more active approach on bends. They are worth considering as part of your riding position, balancing knee comfort with room to move on the bike.
• Number plate holders: an option for changing the look of the rear end to complement the Street Triple’s sporty character. Their appeal is primarily visual, rather than an answer to wind exposure or riding comfort.

For a daily rider, protection and a comfortable position are sensible starting points. If longer main-road journeys are a regular part of your week, give wind protection more attention than cosmetic changes.
