Accessories for the Triumph Street Twin Gold Line 900

The Triumph Street Twin Gold Line 900 brings classic roadster style to everyday urban riding and relaxed trips along winding roads. Choosing accessories means balancing comfort and protection with that classic look. A bike used mainly for commuting calls for different priorities from one that regularly heads out for a full day on country roads.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Street Twin Gold Line 900

• Screens: a screen can take some wind pressure off your upper body without adding a full fairing. For a Street Twin used on weekend outings, this is particularly useful when reaching quieter roads involves stretches of dual carriageway.
• Levers and handlebars: town riding means frequent use of the controls and plenty of low-speed manoeuvres. Pay attention to lever reach and hand position when setting up your Street Twin, particularly if the same bike also handles longer days away from traffic.
• Protectors, crash bobbins and crash bars: these help shield exposed areas from knocks and stationary falls. They make practical sense for a Street Twin regularly manoeuvred into parking spaces, even when keeping the overall appearance understated is part of your plan.
• Footpegs: foot support matters when a short country ride turns into an afternoon on the road. Consider footpegs alongside the handlebars so that your arm and leg positions work together, rather than treating each contact point as an isolated change.
• Mirrors and number plate holders: both have a noticeable influence on a classic roadster’s appearance. Mirrors serve the rearward view as well as the styling, while a different number plate holder offers a way to reshape the visual finish at the rear.

For a mixture of commuting and country rides, settle the riding position and wind protection first. Smaller styling details can then finish the bike without dictating how comfortable it is to use.
