Accessories for the Triumph Tiger 1200 Alpine Edition

The Triumph Tiger 1200 Alpine Edition is a touring-focused adventure bike, suited to long days linking open roads and winding routes. Spending hours in the saddle puts wind protection, riding position and protection for exposed parts high on the list. The right priorities depend on your journeys: motorway miles and mountain passes place different demands on your accessories from trips that also take in unsurfaced tracks.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 1200 Alpine Edition

• Screens: A screen helps manage airflow towards your upper body during motorway stretches and longer road journeys. Its height and shape matter on a touring adventure bike, particularly when much of your day is spent seated and covering distance between more winding sections.
• Crash bars and sliders: These can help limit damage in a stationary drop or low-speed fall. For the Tiger's travelling role, they are worth considering when your stops involve gravel parking areas, uneven ground or tight manoeuvres at rural accommodation.
• Footrests: Your boots need a suitable platform throughout a long ride. When a journey combines seated road riding with occasional standing on tracks, the support beneath your feet affects how comfortably you can change position and move with the bike.
• Levers: Twisting roads mean frequent use of the brake and clutch. Lever shape and how it suits your hands deserve attention when setting up the Tiger for full days out, particularly if you regularly ride in thicker winter gloves.
• Phone mounts: Keeping navigation in view is useful on touring routes full of unfamiliar junctions and turnings. Positioning the phone without obscuring the instruments helps keep the cockpit readable, while setting the route before departure avoids having to make adjustments on the move.
