Accessories for the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT

The Triumph Tiger 1200 GT is a road-focused adventure touring bike, suited to weekend rides, longer holidays and everyday journeys. Equipping it for those different roles means balancing wind protection, luggage space and comfort over distance. For a rider heading away for several days, carrying the essentials and staying comfortable on connecting motorway stretches will matter more than they would on a short local ride.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT

• Screens: useful for deflecting airflow on motorway runs and exposed stretches of open road. For longer touring days, consider the coverage in relation to your height and riding position, rather than looking at screen size alone.
• Panniers: provide space to organise clothing and other essentials for nights away. If you tour with a pillion, room for two people's luggage becomes a bigger consideration than it is on a solo Sunday ride.
• Protectors and crash bars: worth considering for the stops as well as the journey. Manoeuvring at accommodation or in unfamiliar parking areas is part of touring; protection can help limit low-speed fall damage to the areas it covers.
• Levers: hand comfort matters on a route that mixes sweeping roads with town traffic. A suitable lever shape and reach can make operating the controls more comfortable when you spend much of the day riding.
• Footpegs: foot support contributes to comfort over longer distances. On a road-oriented adventure bike, their shape and position are worth considering alongside your leg position and how easily you can reach the foot controls.

Choosing parts for the 2022, 2023 and 2024 versions

The Triumph Tiger 1200 GT has changed over the years, so the 2022, 2023 and 2024 versions do not all take the same parts. Filters, mirrors and protectors are examples of accessories that can differ between them. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the parts that fit your version.
