Accessories for TRIUMPH TIGER 1200 GT EXPLORER

Accessories for the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer

The Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer is a touring-focused adventure bike suited to long road journeys and days spent exploring further afield. Accessories make most sense when they reflect that use: managing wind exposure, carrying your kit and keeping your contact points comfortable. A solo weekend away calls for a different luggage setup from a longer trip with a pillion.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer

• Screens: Wind protection becomes more important when a route includes sustained motorway riding. A screen should suit your riding position while leaving a clear view of the road, rather than simply being as tall as possible.
• Luggage: Cases give clothing and overnight essentials a place on the bike instead of on your back. For two-up touring on the Tiger, useful carrying space helps you organise both riders' belongings for several days away.
• Footrests: Long hours on the road make the support beneath your boots worth considering. The footrest surface and position affect how your feet settle and how comfortably you maintain your riding posture throughout a touring day.
• Levers: Your hands work the brake and clutch repeatedly when a day's ride mixes winding roads with busy towns. Comfortable contact with these controls matters especially on journeys that involve frequent changes of pace.
• Protectors: Touring includes parking stops and low-speed manoeuvres with luggage, often somewhere unfamiliar. Protective accessories can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a minor drop, making them relevant beyond the open-road part of a trip.

Choosing parts for the 2022-2023 and 2024-2025 versions

The Tiger 1200 GT Explorer has changed over the years, so parts do not necessarily fit both the 2022-2023 and 2024-2025 versions. Mirrors, protectors and stands are among the items that differ. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only accessories that fit your version.

When planning a two-up setup, leave your pillion room to sit comfortably and get on and off without luggage getting in the way.
