Accessories for TRIUMPH TIGER 1200 XCX LOW

Touring accessories for the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx Low

The Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx Low is an adventure bike suited to long road rides, touring holidays and routes that venture onto unpaved tracks. How you divide your time between those journeys shapes what is worth fitting: wind protection matters on motorway stretches, while luggage and protective accessories serve different parts of the trip.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx Low

A weekend away with a pillion calls for a different setup from a day exploring back roads. These accessory types suit the Tiger’s travelling role:

• Screens: help deflect airflow during sustained road riding. With the upright riding position typical of an adventure bike, screen coverage is particularly relevant on exposed motorway sections and longer journeys where you spend several hours in the saddle.
• Crash bars and protectors: help limit damage to the areas they cover in a stationary drop or low-speed fall. They are worth considering when your touring route includes loose surfaces, uneven stopping places or occasional excursions away from tarmac.
• Panniers: provide space to organise clothing and travel essentials without carrying everything on your back. On a multi-day Tiger trip, especially with a pillion, planning luggage space for two becomes as much a part of preparation as choosing the route.
• Footpegs: provide your footing whether you are seated for a long stretch of road or standing while riding a track. They deserve attention if your journeys regularly alternate between relaxed road miles and sections ridden out of the saddle.
• Phone mounts: keep your phone in view when using it for route guidance. That is useful on unfamiliar touring roads, particularly when a day involves several turn-offs, planned stops and smaller lanes rather than one straightforward motorway run.

For predominantly road-based touring, focus first on wind protection and luggage. Protective accessories become more relevant as rougher surfaces feature more often in your plans.
