Accessories for TRIUMPH TIGER 800 XCX

Accessories for the Triumph Tiger 800 XCx

The Triumph Tiger 800 XCx is an adventure bike suited to road touring and exploring unpaved tracks. Choosing accessories starts with how you divide your time between those two settings. Long road days put wind protection and luggage high on the list, while regular gravel riding brings protection and your standing riding position into sharper focus.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 800 XCx

• Crash protection and bars: worth considering when your trips leave the tarmac and involve slow manoeuvres on uneven ground. They help limit damage in a fall, which is particularly relevant when you are handling the Tiger with luggage on board.
• Windscreens: the upright riding position makes wind protection an important consideration on longer journeys. A screen helps manage airflow around the rider, especially if reaching your favourite tracks means covering a substantial distance on motorways or faster main roads first.
• Luggage: cases give clothing and touring essentials a dedicated place on multi-day trips, rather than leaving everything in a rucksack. For travel with a pillion, organising your shared luggage also makes frequently needed items easier to reach during stops.
• Footpegs: switching between seated road riding and standing on gravel changes how you use your feet to support yourself. Replacement footpegs let you tailor that contact point to adventure riding and the boots you normally wear on those trips.
• Phone mounts: useful for following a planned route through unfamiliar back roads and connecting tracks. A mount keeps navigation directions in view rather than leaving your phone in a pocket; stop the bike before making changes to the route.

For mostly road-based touring, start with wind protection and carrying space. If unpaved sections are a regular part of your rides, give greater priority to crash protection and the contact points you rely on when standing.
