Accessories for the Triumph Tiger 800 XCx Low

The Triumph Tiger 800 XCx Low is an adventure bike suited to touring, winding roads and occasional unpaved detours. That mix puts wind protection, protection for the bike and rider comfort ahead of purely cosmetic changes. How you divide your time between motorway miles, country lanes and trails gives you a useful starting point when deciding what to fit.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 800 XCx Low

• Screens: A screen helps divert airflow away from your upper body during long road sections. On a Tiger used for both touring and trails, the balance between wind coverage and a clear view of the ground ahead matters, particularly on slower, uneven tracks.
• Protectors and crash bars: These are worth considering when your trips include loose surfaces or manoeuvring on uneven ground. They can help limit damage in a low-speed fall, with different designs covering different areas rather than every protector serving the same purpose.
• Footpegs: Secure footing becomes particularly useful when you switch from seated road riding to standing on the pegs along a trail. The support area and grip deserve attention on a Tiger that regularly moves between these two riding positions.
• Levers: Mountain roads and town crossings mean frequent use of the clutch and brake. Lever shape and reach influence how comfortably your fingers operate the controls, something that becomes more noticeable after several hours of riding in gloves.
• Phone mounts: Navigation is useful when exploring unfamiliar back roads or linking up stops on a longer trip. Positioning the phone without obscuring the instruments or restricting handlebar movement keeps the layout practical; set your route before getting underway.

For predominantly road-based trips, focus first on wind protection and comfort at the controls. If trails are a regular part of your riding, protection and a supportive footing become stronger priorities.
