Accessories for the Triumph Tiger 800 XR

Road trips are a natural fit for the Triumph Tiger 800 XR, a road-focused adventure bike equally suited to everyday journeys and touring. How you divide your time between commuting, winding roads and longer trips helps determine what to fit. Wind protection matters on motorway miles, while travelling with a pillion makes luggage space a greater priority.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 800 XR

• Screens: help reduce wind pressure on your upper body during road riding. They are particularly useful when a trip on the Tiger involves a lengthy motorway run before you reach the quieter roads you have planned to explore.
• Luggage: gives your touring kit a place on the bike rather than on your back. For weekends away as a pair, cases also help keep the pillion seat free instead of using it to carry bags.
• Crash bars and protectors: help shield the areas they cover if the bike tips over at a standstill. They are worth considering for a Tiger used for loaded touring, when parking and low-speed manoeuvres can demand extra care.
• Footrests: provide the foothold that supports your riding position through a long day. For riders spending successive days on the Tiger, how their feet sit deserves attention alongside wind protection and luggage arrangements.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation in view when your route takes you somewhere unfamiliar. On a touring bike like the Tiger, that can mean finding your way through a town or following a planned route along winding country roads.

Choosing between the 2015-2017 and 2018-2019 versions

The Tiger 800 XR has changed over the years, so the 2015-2017 and 2018-2019 versions do not use all the same accessories. Screens are a key example: one screen will not necessarily fit both versions. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the parts that fit yours.
