Accessories for your Triumph Tiger 800 XRT

The Triumph Tiger 800 XRT is a road-focused adventure tourer suited to longer holidays, weekend rides and everyday journeys. Choosing what to fit starts with how you spend your time on the bike. Long motorway stretches favour wind protection, while travelling with a pillion makes luggage space and comfort more useful than purely cosmetic changes.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 800 XRT

• Screens: Wind protection becomes particularly valuable when a touring day includes long stretches of faster roads. With the Tiger's upright riding position, screen height deserves attention: the aim is to reduce wind pressure on your upper body while keeping a clear view of the road ahead.
• Panniers: Carrying clothes and touring kit on the bike takes the load off your back. For two-up trips, panniers also help keep luggage out of the pillion's seating space. If your Tiger doubles as a commuter, consider the extra width when planning your luggage setup.
• Crash bars and protectors: These are a practical addition for a touring Tiger, particularly when manoeuvring with luggage or parking somewhere unfamiliar. They can help limit damage to exposed areas in a low-speed drop, though they cannot prevent every kind of damage in a fall.
• Footrests: On a full day in the saddle, foot support is part of overall riding comfort. For the Tiger's touring role, it makes sense to focus on a comfortable leg position and natural access to the controls, including when a route turns onto winding roads.
• Phone mounts: A mounted phone can make navigation easier when exploring unfamiliar roads, keeping route guidance visible rather than tucked away in a pocket. Position matters on a touring setup: leave the instruments unobstructed and stop before changing your destination or adjusting the route.
