Accessories for the Triumph Tiger 900

The Triumph Tiger 900 is an adventure bike suited to everyday journeys, road touring and rides that venture beyond the tarmac. What you fit should reflect how you divide your time between them. A weekday commute puts different demands on the bike from a week away with luggage and a pillion, or a route that includes unpaved tracks.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 900

• Windscreens: Long motorway stretches and full days on open roads make wind protection worth considering. A screen helps reduce wind pressure on your upper body, making this a more relevant addition to a touring Tiger 900 than one used mainly for short urban journeys.
• Panniers: Multi-day trips call for somewhere to carry clothing and other essentials without keeping everything in a rucksack. When travelling two-up on the Tiger 900, dedicated luggage also helps keep bags away from the space your pillion needs.
• Protectors and crash bars: If your routes alternate between tarmac and tracks, protection can help limit damage from a low-speed fall. It also has a practical role on road tours, when manoeuvring a loaded Tiger 900 at a stop can lead to a tip-over.
• Footpegs: Long hours seated and stretches ridden standing up place different demands on foot support. For a Tiger 900 used both on and off the road, think about both riding positions rather than basing your choice solely on the daily commute.
• Phone mounts: Using your phone for navigation gives a mount a clear purpose on longer trips. It keeps the planned route in view when exploring unfamiliar country roads, and is equally useful when your everyday Tiger 900 takes you across a less familiar part of town.
