Accessories for the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro

The Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro is an adventure bike suited to road touring and exploring unpaved routes. Getting it ready for both means balancing wind protection and luggage space with protection for riding off the tarmac. Your riding position matters too: accessories should work for long stretches in the saddle without getting in the way when you stand on the pegs.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro

• Protectors and crash bars: useful when a touring route includes loose surfaces and awkward manoeuvres on uneven ground. They help reduce the consequences of minor knocks or spills, making protection for exposed areas a sensible priority on a Tiger used for mixed terrain.
• Screens: wind protection becomes more valuable when a day's riding starts with a long motorway stretch. Consider screen height and shape around your seated riding position, while keeping a clear view of the ground ahead when standing up on trails.
• Panniers: provide room for clothing and essentials on multi-day trips, particularly with a pillion. For a Rally Pro that also ventures onto narrow tracks, useful carrying capacity needs to be balanced against the extra width of the loaded bike.
• Footpegs: your footing matters when switching between seated road riding and standing over rougher ground. Think about the support they give your riding boots and the room available to operate the controls as you change position on the bike.
• Levers: town traffic, winding roads and trails all place different demands on your hands. A suitable reach from the grip helps you operate the brake and clutch in touring gloves without having to stretch or adopt an awkward hand position.

For two-up trips, plan luggage around both riders' needs and keep the pillion's foot space and room to move unobstructed.
