Accessories for TRIUMPH TIGER EXPLORER XC

Accessories for the Triumph Tiger Explorer XC

The Triumph Tiger Explorer XC is an adventure bike suited to touring, weekend rides and routes that take in the occasional unpaved track. Setting it up for those uses means balancing wind protection, luggage space and rider comfort. A solo day on country roads calls for a different approach from a longer trip with a pillion.

What riders usually fit to the Triumph Tiger Explorer XC

• Screens: wind protection becomes a priority on motorway stretches and long days in the saddle. A screen helps reduce exposure to the airflow, with your height and normal touring posture guiding the choice of shape.
• Luggage: cases provide room for clothing and equipment on multi-day trips without keeping everything in a rucksack. For two-up touring on the Explorer XC, plan around what both riders need to carry.
• Crash protection and bars: these help limit damage in a low-speed fall. That matters when manoeuvring with luggage or taking an unfamiliar track as part of a longer adventure ride.
• Footpegs: secure foot support matters both during long seated stretches and when standing on the pegs along a track. If your Explorer XC sees mixed riding, consider how you use both positions rather than focusing solely on road comfort.
• Phone mounts: a mount keeps navigation directions in view on unfamiliar routes. It is a useful addition for touring days that combine winding back roads with finding your accommodation at the end of the ride.

Choosing parts for the 2013-2015 and 2016-2017 versions

The Tiger Explorer XC has changed over the years, so its 2013-2015 and 2016-2017 versions do not always use the same accessories. Screens, protectors and mudguards are examples of parts that may differ between them. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the parts that fit your version.
